Live preview — updates as you type
How the Flyer Maker Works
- 1Choose a template — Event, Sale, Job Posting, or Announcement. Each has a distinct layout and default color scheme designed for that use case.
- 2Pick an accent color from the eight swatches. The color updates the header gradient, info cards, and footer sections across the entire flyer.
- 3Fill in the content fields — headline, tagline, date, location, description, organizer, and contact info. The live preview updates instantly as you type.
- 4Optionally upload a logo (PNG with transparent background works best), then click Download PNG for a 1200×1680 px image or Print / PDF to save or print.
Choosing the Right Template
The four templates are designed around common flyer use cases. Event leads with a bold gradient header and pulls date and venue into info cards — useful when the schedule details are the main message. Sale puts the headline and offer text front and center in large type, designed to catch attention at a glance. Job Posting follows the structure of an employment notice — a "Now Hiring" badge, job title, requirements, and a clear apply footer. Announcement centers everything for a formal, symmetric layout that works for notices, community updates, and institutional communications.
Tips for Effective Flyers
Keep the headline short
The headline font scales down as you type more characters. For the boldest visual impact, aim for a headline under 22 characters so it renders at the largest size (36–44px).
Use transparent-background logos
Export your logo as PNG-24 with an alpha channel. A white-background PNG will show a white box overlaid on the colored header band. Most design tools offer this option under "Export as PNG."
Match accent color to your brand
The accent color appears in the header, info cards, and footer. For branded flyers, pick the color closest to your primary brand color from the palette swatches.
Print at A4 portrait
The flyer is proportioned for A4 portrait (210×297 mm) or US Letter. When printing via the PDF dialog, set margins to None and orientation to Portrait for a full-bleed printout.
Frequently Asked Questions
Which template should I choose?
Choose Event for concerts, festivals, parties, and community gatherings. Sale works for retail promotions, discounts, and limited-time offers. Job Posting suits hiring announcements — it has a "Now Hiring" badge and a requirements section. Announcement is a clean, versatile format for notices, policy updates, and informational posts. All four templates use the same form fields, so you can switch templates at any time without losing your text.
How do I change the color scheme?
Click any of the eight color swatches below the template tabs. The accent color updates the header gradient, card backgrounds, labels, and footer bands across all templates. Switching between templates resets the accent color to that template's default (indigo for Event, red for Sale, teal for Job, amber for Announcement), but you can override it with any swatch at any time.
What is the best format for the logo upload?
PNG with a transparent background produces the cleanest result. A white-background logo will show a white rectangle overlaid on the colored header. Most design tools — Canva, Figma, Illustrator, and GIMP — let you export PNG with transparency (PNG-24 with alpha channel). The logo area on the flyer is approximately 96×60 px on screen and 192×120 px in the downloaded PNG.
What size is the downloaded flyer?
The PNG download is 1200×1680 px — a 2× high-resolution version of the 600×840 px preview. This is suitable for digital distribution (email, social media, websites) and basic print use. For high-quality print, use the Print / PDF path and send directly to a printer at 100% scale on A4 paper.
Is my data stored or sent anywhere?
No. All text, logo uploads, and design generation happen entirely in your browser. Nothing is transmitted to a server or stored anywhere. Closing or refreshing the page clears all entered data.
Can I print the flyer directly from the browser?
Yes. Click Print / PDF to open a preview window. The browser print dialog opens automatically — select your printer (or Save as PDF) and set margins to None or Minimum for a full-page result. For best print quality on A4 paper, use portrait orientation.
How long can the description text be?
The description field supports up to 5–6 lines of wrapped text on the flyer (approximately 300–400 characters). Text beyond that point is truncated from the visible area of the flyer. For flyers with minimal body text — where the headline and offer are the main message — you can leave the description field empty and the layout adjusts automatically.
