| WebP, GIF, BMP | Canvas → PNG, then embedded | Browser converts via canvas before embedding |
Page Size Options
Three page size options are available:
- A4 (595 × 842 pt) — the international standard used in Europe, Asia, and most of the world. Ideal for documents, scans, and formal PDFs.
- US Letter (612 × 792 pt) — the standard in the United States and Canada, used by most printers and word processors in North America.
- Fit to Image — each PDF page is sized exactly to the pixel dimensions of the source image. Useful for photo books or when you want the PDF to match the original image ratio precisely.
Why No Upload Is Important
Most online image-to-PDF tools send your photos to a remote server to generate the PDF. That means a copy of your images exists briefly (or permanently) on a third-party system outside your control. This tool is different: the entire PDF generation runs locally using pdf-lib, an open-source JavaScript library. Your images stay on your device throughout the entire process. There is no network request beyond loading the page itself.
This privacy-first approach is especially important when converting sensitive documents such as identity photos, medical images, financial records, or legal documents.
Common Use Cases
Submitting scanned documents
Many government forms, visa applications, and loan processes require scanned documents as PDF. If your scanner produces JPG images, convert them here before submitting. Combine multiple scanned pages into a single multi-page PDF in seconds.
Creating a photo portfolio or lookbook
Arrange photos in the order you want, select A4 with a small margin, and generate a clean PDF portfolio that can be sent by email or uploaded to a file-sharing platform.
Archiving receipts and invoices
Photo receipts taken on a phone are easy to lose. Convert them to a single PDF for each month and store them in cloud storage. PDF files are more reliably opened and printed than loose image files.
